Museum Henry Dunant

Museum Henry Dunant, Heiden

Henry Dunant, the founder of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), spent the last 18 years of his life in Heiden. The Henry Dunant Museum dedicated to him is getting ready for the future and is temporarily closed. It is being extensively rebuilt, the rooms are being reorganised and a modular, contemporary core exhibition is being developed.

After the winter break, we will start with events and selected mediation offers from 1 April 2023 and offer guided tours and workshops for school classes and private groups on request.

The reopening of the museum is planned for 2023/2024.
