Award for «Demo of the Year» goes to Miss C

Wrapping up the Demotape Clinic at this year’s m4music Festival, the top prize for the «Demo of the Year» funded by the SUISA Foundation for Music was awarded once again. The glowing winner was Miss C, who had already won in the «Urban» category.  The 22-year old rapper with Jamaican roots was in the running at last year’s Demotape Clinic, but finished without a win. When asked what she will do with the 8000 Swiss Francs in prize money, she was ready to quickly answer: produce her first album. – A compilation CD with the best songs from the Demotape Clinic 2010 will be coming out at the end of April.
